Hola Meal, an AI-Powered Nutrition Companion

Most current nutrition apps still treat all users the same. They can recognize foods, count calories, and display nutritional information, but they don't truly understand who's consuming those foods. Effective nutrition recommendations should consider the user's context, including their health condition, healthy lifestyle goals, eating patterns, and daily habits.
With this in mind, I designed Hola Meal, an exploration of AI Product Design that combines computer vision, personal health context, and large-scale language models to create a more personalized nutrition experience. Instead of simply answering "what am I eating?", this product is designed to answer a much more important question: "is this food right for my body?"
In this project, I explored how AI can guide the decision-making process through contextual recommendations, easy-to-understand explanations, and a user experience that feels like talking to a nutrition coach, rather than simply using a calorie-counting app.
More than just designing an interface, this project demonstrates my approach to building AI products: identifying real-world problems, transforming research into imaginative user experiences, and designing systems that connect AI capabilities with human needs. For me, design is not just about visual appearance, but about how technology can help people make better decisions every day. more detail read here https://masbeoffisial.wixsite.com/libra/post/what-if-ai-could-understand-your-food-and-your-body-at-the-same-time
